He has started up another “little” war
A “beautiful, exciting” little war
If the Epstein news gets tougher,
he will simply start another
Keep the headlines on the terror, death and gore
He and Bibi are inciting World War Three
bombing schools & homes & hospitals with glee
They will rain the missiles down
on every bleepin’ town
to distract from their own criminality
Cue the patriotic music and the spin
A lucrative new arms race will begin
Put the burden on the backs
of the citizens you tax
and the industries of war can rake it in!
They say Boeing has new aircraft they must sell
Lockheed Martin wants to boost their shares as well
Also good ol' Northrup Grumman
wants to keep their factories hummin'
Plus more bucks for Exxon Mobil and for Shell
Corporate media is breathless, they’re so glad
’cause their ratings are enhanced when things are bad
Oh we panic when we think
we’re on annihilation’s brink
So they beat the drums for war – it’s all so mad!
We have prices going up most every day
While our morals and our ethics, they decay
All this killing and destruction
goes along with mass corruption
Now it’s time that we demand a better way!
Should the U.S. wage illegal war
on Venezuela recklessly?
There’s an easy answer: Let ’em be!
And why did Trump abduct their leader,
violate their sovereignty?
Here’s some words of wisdom: Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Hands off Venezuela! Let ’em be!
The U.S. bullies all the world
and topples governments with glee
waging wars for greed and piracy
With millions killed in Vietnam,
Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan:
what a tragic, shameful history!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Hands off other countries! Let ’em be!
Oh Trump says he’ll “run” Venezuela
as a U.S. colony
But he fails at running our country!
A wrecking ball of failure:
desecration is his legacy
Lies, corruption, and iniquity
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Hands off Venezuela! Let ’em be!
The world must stand together now
and stand for nations’ sovereignty
We demand Maduro be released!
Reject U.S. imperialism!
Stop regime-change villainy!
Let all sovereign nations live in peace!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Hands off Venezuela! Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Let ’em be! Let ’em be!
Hands off other countries! Let ’em be!
When we make peace instead of war,
and foster peace from shore to shore,
we will live and thrive together
We will prosper more and more
When we trade bombs for aid and food
and when our only goal is good
we will make the whole world better
We can do this and we should
When atom bombs are history
and from their threat the world is free
what a burden will be lifted
We will save humanity
When all our leaders see the light:
that ending war is only right
We will all rejoice together
and our joy will light the night
When we make peace with mother earth
and when we stop abusing her
she'll repay us with abundance
So, we must allow rebirth
When we make peace with everyone
and when we ban all bombs and guns
we will be the greatest winners
’cause it’s peace we will have won
There’s no business like war business,
the gore business, for sure
Everything about it is appalling
Everything the market will allow
Long as they can keep the stocks from falling
they’ll keep on calling for more and more
This war business is big business
Now that everyone knows
Politicians represent the war machine
‘cause corporate profits rule everything
Human life and human rights don’t mean a thing
with war running the show
There’s no business like nuke business
it’s death business, we swear
Never mind the radiation cancer
Never mind the water and the air
How can you escape contamination
when radiation is everywhere?
This nuke business is bad business,
it’s so bad, it’s absurd
They can kill a million people in a flash
Our state sponsors these psychopaths
We’re in the apocalypse and that’s a fact
with war running the world
with war running the world
Peace on earth is what we’re for, alleluia
We shall put an end to war, alleluia
Instead of bombing other lands, alleluia
May we lend a helping hand, alleluia
Let us lay down all our arms, alleluia
Let’s do good and not do harm, alleluia
Sisters, brothers, work for peace, alleluia
Never stop 'til all wars cease, alleluia
When compassion rules the day, alleluia
We shall live a better way, alleluia
May all children everywhere, alleluia
Know they’re safe, and have no fear, alleluia
Peace on earth is what we’re for, alleluia
We shall put an end to war, alleluia
When nobody marches off to war
Hurrah! Hurrah!
We'll live in peace forever more
Hurrah! Hurrah!
We’ll all be dancing in the streets
and celebrating global peace
And we'll all rejoice when nobody goes to war!
When all the fighting's over and done
Hurrah! Hurrah!
Let all the people live as one
Hurrah! Hurrah!
When guns and bombs and artillery
have gone the way of history
Oh we'll all rejoice when nobody goes to war!
Let love and friendship rule the day
Hurrah! Hurrah!
And let us live a better way
Hurrah! Hurrah!
When all our children know such love
they can't imagine how it was
Yes we'll all rejoice when nobody goes to war!
Listen with heart, you’ll hear their voices calling
of the oppressed and crushed by tyranny
victims of war, of genocide and cruelty
They call to us: to our humanity
So raise your voice, in chorus for the innocent!
We’ll sing out loud, for justice and for peace!
Together we must make this world a better place
Keep singing loud and proud ‘til all the world is free
Once we were loved as champions of human rights
For giving aid and food to those in need
But now our nation’s goal is military might
Now we are known for bloodshed, war and greed
So raise your voice, to change the course of history!
Let’s tell the world that what we choose is peace
Together we must care for all humanity
Keep singing loud and proud ‘til all the world is free
We sing for children – orphaned, scared and hungry
We sing for women – struggling to be free
We sing for men – pressed into senseless fighting
We sing for them, and all humanity
So raise your voice with power for the powerless!
We’ll sing out loud, for justice and for peace!
Together we will make this world a better place
Keep singing loud and proud ’til all the world is free
Last night I had the strangest dream
I'd ever dreamed before
I dreamed the world had all agreed
to put an end to war
I dreamed I saw a mighty room
filled with women and men
And the paper they were signing said
they'd never fight again
And when the paper was all signed
and a billion copies made
They all joined hands and bowed their heads
and grateful prayers were prayed
And the people in the streets below
were dancing round and round
While swords and guns and uniforms
were scattered on the ground
So let us share this lovely dream
of people living in peace
Now loving kindness rules the day
and bombs are but history
Now all our children, round the world,
are safe and loved and free
We all know that’s how life should be, so
Please — share this dream with me!
