When we make peace instead of war,

and foster peace from shore to shore,

we will live and thrive together

We will prosper more and more

When we trade bombs for aid and food

and when our only goal is good

we will make the whole world better

We can do this and we should

When atom bombs are history

and from their threat the world is free

what a burden will be lifted

We will save humanity

When all our leaders see the light:

that ending war is only right

We will all rejoice together

and our joy will light the night

When we make peace with mother earth

and when we stop abusing her

she'll repay us with abundance

So, we must allow rebirth

When we make peace with everyone

and when we ban all bombs and guns

we will be the greatest winners

Trump and Bibi have begun their World War Three

Their beautiful, exciting World War Three

They will rain the missiles down, on every bleepin' town

in that dreadful, but exciting World War Three

Corporate media is breathless, they’re so glad 

‘cause their ratings are enhanced when things are bad

Oh, we panic when we think we’re on annihilation’s brink

So they beat the drums for war - it’s all so mad!

We have heard the spin before – recall Iraq?

There was yellowcake and fear of an attack

So we had to go invade ‘em to “defend” their oil and save ‘em

But the whole thing was a scam, and that’s a fact

Oh, it’s glory hallelujah and Amen!

A lucrative new arms race will begin

Put the burden on the backs

of the citizens you tax

and the industries of war can rake it in!

They say Boeing has new aircraft they must sell 

Lockheed Martin wants to boost their shares as well

Also good ol' Northrup Grumman

wants to keep their factories hummin'

Plus more bucks for Exxon Mobil and for Shell

War results in such a lot of refugees 

They are hungry and they're tired and they freeze

We ignore them and we scorn them

and with platitudes we warn them

And refuse to let them enter our country

So stock prices, they go up 'most every day,  

While our morals and our ethics, they decay

All the killing and destruction

only leads to mass corruption

Now, it’s time that we demand a better way!

There’s no business like war business,

the gore business, for sure

Everything about it is appalling

Everything the market will allow      

Long as they can keep the stocks from falling

they’ll keep on calling for more and more

This war business is big business      

Now that everyone knows

Politicians represent the war machine

‘cause corporate profits rule everything

Human life and human rights don’t mean a thing

with war running the show

There’s no business like nuke business

it’s death business, we swear

Never mind the radiation cancer

Never mind the water and the air

How can you escape contamination

when radiation is everywhere?

This nuke business is bad business, 

it’s so bad, it’s absurd

They can kill a million people in a flash

Our state sponsors these psychopaths

We’re in the apocalypse and that’s a fact

Last night I had the strangest dream

I'd ever dreamed before

I dreamed the world had all agreed

to put an end to war

I dreamed I saw a mighty room 

filled with women and men

And the paper they were signing said

they'd never fight again

And when the paper was all signed

and a billion copies made

They all joined hands and bowed their heads

and grateful prayers were prayed

And the people in the streets below

were dancing round and round

While swords and guns and uniforms

were scattered on the ground

So let us share this lovely dream

of people living in peace

Now loving kindness rules the day

and bombs are but history

Now all our children, round the world,

are safe and loved and free

We all know that’s how life should be, so
